Cloud Services
The times when companies didn’t have to seriously deal with IT cloud services are long gone. The seemingly endless new technical possibilities of cloud services create almost limitless opportunities and possibilities for many companies. Key technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence in particular make potential for innovation possible that was unthinkable years ago.
The advantages of the cloud are obvious:
The infrastructures in our own data centers are de facto not even able to do this.
In the “autonomous driving” environment, a vehicle generates around 40 terabytes (!) of data per hour of driving time.
And most importantly:
The formula applies here: digital transformation = migration + modernisation
For many companies, the operation of reliable and highly available IT services is not their core business. So, why continually invest in this
area? Concentrate on your core business and your customer services. Use the advantages of the cloud services for the development of new business areas or the expansion of existing business areas.
There is currently a lot of confusion in the market, as many companies are not yet sure about which cloud services they can use and how,
and whether they even should. Essentially, there are 3 approaches to digitization that must be strictly separated from each other.
